Sing like you mean it!
OK, I understand that corale music isn't everyone's cup o' tea. But singing in a choir is something incredible, when all are working together for the same goal. It's just magical.All the different parts of the harmony, or even better yet, dissonence. Everyone knowing their own part, and it all blending together like weaving a tapestry.
Yesterday in rehersal, and tonight (the real deal), we sang as one voice. Our Ava Maria brought more than one audience member to tears. And boy, is it hard to sing when you are weepy yourself.
Ok, I'm just a big music geek, but this weekend rivaled singing in Notre Dame in 8 part harmony on my college choir tour.
