Merit Badge
I was never a girl scout, I was in 4-H instead, and if provoked I will regale you with the pros and cons of each. Bottom line: I loved 4-H. But I did always have a desire to own a sash with collected patches.
Well, maybe I still will. Artist Mary Yaeger makes some wonderful badges, the rites of passage for women and summer merit badges for kids. I think the body image ones are my favorite, I've always loved the Venus of Willendorf figure.
