Thinking About...
OK, I'll keep posting while I'm thinking...Basically, I'm trying to decide/figure out what I'm doing on the web.
Just blogging? No, that was never the intention, I have bunches of ideas for the site.
On-line handicraft store? Maybe. I have some ideas of things to sell. But I thought of the things to sell before thinking of how to ship them. Hmm, if I'm going to send things through the mail, do I need to start with thinking of shipping BEFORE deciding product?? If so, the comic-strip hats are probably a bust.
On-line art gallery? More just pictures of what I've made, not really selling? Maybe.
But I'd like to make a little 'pin' money to save for the art supplies I REALLY want, and will someday be able to sell. The PMC clay, and, eventually, making glass beads.
I already posted that I'm loving Flickr. Also want to submit pix to iStock photo, as I had always planned. Some of the pix that are ready to submit, are being held prisoner in my PC for now. Need to get them out!
Another ponder-point is blogspot. I had originally put my blog on my own web space because I couldn't upload pictures on blogspot. Now blogspot offers that, too, besides also having the Flickr. One bad thing about having my blog on my own web space, is I can't figure out how to get it RSS-ed. I know how much RSS-ing is important to blog readers, now. That's mostly how I read blogs these days, and I think my readership would go up if I could successfully RSS. Blogspot makes it very easy to RSS. So maybe put the blog back to blogspot??
And lastly for now, there is so much out there I want/need to learn. I hate that when I have a problem with my template, I can't figure out easily how to fix it. And I'd love to actually make my own templates!! I'm good at teaching myself some computer stuff, but some of the CSS stuff, as well as the FreeHand stuff I'm trying to learn, well, it's just not picking up a crayon and drawing, you know? There is so much junk there, it's not intuitive to me because I don't know enough yet. So learning is a high priority for me.
Learning and more pictures.
Any suggestions welcome.

Blogger has some help in their FAQ regarding RSS. Does that help?

I sure would love it if you had an rss feed. With Blogger as the host, you just have to turn rss on in the settings. I don't know how you do it if your blog is hosted elsewhere. I do know that I don't always remember to come here and read. I read most blogs via Bloglines.
