Technicolor Day

Thursday, June 27

I do have a lot of things planned for this blog.
My vacation next week should give me some time to work on it.
If I get a turn on the computer

A rose by any other name...
What's in a name?
My critics are liking my old blog name better:
Technicolor Day
I thought maybe it sounded a bit too Brady.
But that's probably a good thing.

I think I'll go for a walk outside now,
The summertime's calling my name, I hear it now.

Ok, here's a bit of meat:
What kind of parent would let their 5-year-old watch wrestling on TV??

Five-year-olds are supposed to still be watching pabulum like Sesame Street and Blue's Clues.
What impressions do you want to put into their little minds, anyway?

I'm still not getting the best out of my blog.
Hmmm.

I'm posting about the A/C here, but adding interesting comments on others' blogs.

The A/C's working again.

Helpful hint of the day:
Don't forget to check your filter!

Monday, June 24

Thanks to a few epiphanies over the last couple weeks, I'm starting to feel like Tasha
in ST:TNG episode 63.
There is some place else I am supposed to be.

Sunday, June 23

Bumper Sticker (Set) Of The Week:

First, picture the setting:

a silver-ish, small-ish, not-bran-new-ish car (college kid?), with flower leis and marty gras beads hanging from rear view mirror (party-going college kid), six perfectly placed stickers: three across the back window, two on upper bumper, one on bottom of bumper, (perhaps a bit obsessive?), and they were all identical sized (all bought and stuck at the same time).

Reading left to right, by row:

Boys are great. Every girl should own one.

Boys LIE!

(sorry, I forgot this one, but it wasn't happy)

I lie to boys.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

Come Closer. So I can slap you.

Wow, honey, that must have been a really bad break-up.

Lots of tweaking today. Not much blogging.

And thanks to
weblog commenting
for the free commenting code!

Tweak, Tweak, Tweak, Tweak

I had misunderstood part of the instructions for the comments, but I've got it all figured out now.
Unfortunately, I had to delete the one comment I did have to correct it.
We probably don't need comments about stalkers, anyway.

Here's the graphic I made for the blog:
See Shell's

Yup
I found code for comments.
But I wasted half an evening creating some art to put on my blog, only to discover I can't upload it.
Still working out the kinks, I guess.

Something about those EYES

We love language so much, we have to come up with a new lingo for everything. Each decade, kind of job, music genre, and game has new words to learn.

Watch Out, Gunner!
This scrub's tightening her tech, working up a God Hand, loaded with plenty of beef, and she's gonna lock down your deck!

You know who you are.

Oh, the exciting news of the week:

My household was picked as a Neilsen family for a week in July.
Is The Tick in summer replacement? Maybe we could bring it back.

Thursday, June 20

Is it too much??
Tell me on my other blog:
Other Blog

Added some bookmarks. Can't do that on Live Journal, as far as I've found.
Gonna try messing with the colors now.

Watch Out!

That only took me 4 tries and a little help from the WebMonkey, but I finally figured out how to put a link in with words.

Whoo-Hoo!

I'm really getting into this HTML stuff!

That's going to make it tough.
I'm trying to decide which I like better: Blogger or Live Journal.
TechnicolorDay
They each have things I like and don't like.
What to do, What to do?

UMMMM
You mean there's no comment section here?
